Come experience Victorian High Tea in the elegant, historic ballroom of Government House! Enjoy our renowned tea, kept piping hot in our tea cozy-clad pots, along with our selections of traditional: house-made scones and seasonal preserves often made with edibles from our garden; time-honoured, petit tea sandwiches; and variety of delicate, tasty desserts (for younger guests, try our enchanting children’s fare). All created and served by volunteers in Victorian attire. The internationally recognized teas began in 1991 in order to promote engaging experiences at Government House.
