The American artist Arnold Friberg has become famous for his iconic, and prolific, portrayal of the Mounted police, but what about those other artists who have also celebrated the “Mountie”? The “Beyond Friberg” exhibition will explore works from a number of artists, and will feature a painting titled “Beyond the Law” by famous Group of Seven artist Franz Johnston.  After extensive conservation, the RCMP Historical Collections Unit is pleased to bring home this unique piece of Canadian art for the public to enjoy.
