2014 Tim Hortons Canadian Ringette Championships - Co-operators Centre

Ringette Canada has selected Regina, Saskatchewan as the host for the 2014 Canadian Ringette Championships. The decision to award the event to Regina was made at the Ringette Canada Annual General Meeting that was held on June 12th in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Bids to host the national event were presented by Regina and Sault Ste Marie, Ontario.

The event will be held April 6 - 12, 2014 and will see approximately 48 teams from across the country competing in three divisions - U16, U19 and the National Ringette League Division (19+) The 2014 championship will be held at Co-operators Centre at Evraz Place, which contains six ice surfaces. The event is expected to bring in approximately 3,000 or more visitors to the region, resulting in an estimated total economic impact of $2.2 million for the City of Regina and $3 million to the province of Saskatchewan.
