Guest Speaker: Marlene Glettler, RSW

Marlene is Senior Health Educator in Advance Care Planning with the Regina Qu'Appelle Health Region (RQHR).  Before joining Advance Care Planning, she worked in RQHR as a medical social worker for 22 years. 

Planning for future health care choices is a wise thing for all capable adult to do. In Regina Qu'Appelle Health Region we call this Advance Care Planning.  An Advance Care Plan is sometimes called a living will or health directive.
During this presentation, we will discuss Advance Care Planning in Regina Qu'Appelle Health Region and you will learn:

·         the  benefits of having an Advance Care Plan

·        how to complete an Advance Care Plan

·         about a health care proxy
