The 3rd Annual Eberle & Friends Golf Classic Centre Ice Celebration, sponsored by Mosaic, will take place at the Casino Regina Show Lounge. Once again, you can look forward to fabulous food, outstanding musical entertainment by Jeffrey Straker, autographs from Jordan Eberle and his Edmonton Oiler buddies, and the chance to purchase one-of-a-kind auction items.

Not only will you enjoy a great evening, you’ll be helping some of southern Saskatchewan’s sickest children. Proceeds from this year’s event will help fund a new Children’s High Acuity Area at the Regina General Hospital, the first step towards creating an integrated Children’s Health Centre to provide specialized care to southern Saskatchewan’s 115,000 kids.

What do I win?

The prize package contains 2 tickets to the Centre Ice Celebration (CIC) on Wednesday, July 9 at the Casino Regina Show Lounge where you can rub elbow pads with Jordan Eberle, his NHL friends and our master of ceremonies James Duthie, sportscaster for TSN. There will be fabulous food and entertainment and great silent auction items. This prize package is worth $550! 

The draw will take place Friday, June 27. The winner will be notified by the Hospitals of Regina Foundation by phone and Jordan Eberle will tweet out the winner's name on the draw date. 

What is it like to win the Eberle & Friends Golf Classic Contest?

Last year Shane Dell from Grande Prairie Alberta was our contest winner. Shane made a donation on our website and his name was randomly selected as our 2012 winner. He first found out that he won the contest when he saw a tweet with his name in it sent out by Jordan Eberle.

We contacted Shane by phone to explain all the details of the prize. Shane took a moment to share some of his fondest moments from this experience:

“I met Jordan at the Centre Ice Celebration and he took a lot of time out to chat hockey with me. He also introduced me to a few other NHLers like RNH [Ryan Nugent-Hopkins] and [Devin] Dubnyk. It was also neat watching TSN's James Duthie emcee the event.

“Golf the next day was amazing. The course was pristine and the weather was hot. The autograph session with the NHLers was nice and I got some awesome autographs. Even though I didn’t get to golf with Eberle, he and I were able to tweet each other a few times about our game as we played.

“After the golf Eberle made sure to find me and we talked more about golf. All the NHLers made themselves available and I talked with many of them. I was blown away by Jordan giving me a special edition signed Eberle jersey after the tournament. It was a phenomenal experience, especially for an Oilers fan.”
