Perhaps most recognized as host of CBC Radio’s “The Debaters”, it is as an international headline stand-up comedian where Steve Patterson truly shines. His hallmark gift for capturing a funny turn of phrase and reputation for rendering his audience helpless with laughter, has taken Patterson to stages around the world, but also to perform regularly at Just For Laughs as a feature guest at their prestigious televised festival galas. Patterson’s 2010 performance prompted the legendary comedy icon and gala host, Steve Martin, to quip: “If I’d known he was going to be THAT good, I would have cancelled him.

This fall Patterson continues a national tour of his 90-minute one man show - “This Is Not Debatable!” where he gleefully seizes the opportunity to express opinions he doesn’t get to voice as moderator of “The Debaters....throwing in a couple of original satirical songs to boot.
