RiderGirl

August 28, 7:30 PM, Artesian on 13th

Colleen Sutton's RiderGirl returns to Artesian for a special engagement ahead of the Labour Day Classic!

Dubbed "the brightest new recruit on Canada's Fringe circuit", Colleen Sutton is scoring touchdowns in the theatre with her one-woman show RiderGirl. The Ottawa based artist and Saskatchewan native brings theatre and sports together in this "hilarious and touching" story about fighting for passion over paycheck.

Synopsis: A prairie girl is seduced into sports fandom and discovers the rules don't just apply to the game. Running 80 minutes in length, Colleen Sutton throws herself into multiple characters as she fights for first downs and flags begin to fly. Loaded with laughs, it's a fast-paced, physical and trash-talking march down the field that will haul your heart into the game.

Come in your colours, GAME TIME is here! Two-time Rideau Award nominee, Colleen Sutton, will energize your inner fan.

Tickets are $30 in Advance or at the Door, or $25 if you come in CFL Gear! Tickets can be purchased online through Picatic. This show is recommended for Mature Audiences. Language Advisory (it's Football, after all!).
