From the Americas to Spain

We're excited to have Ramses Calderon and Brad Mahon performing live at Artesian on Thursday, October 2nd!

With the purpose of promoting classical guitar in Regina, guitarist and composer Ramses Calderon and new Head of the University of Regina’s Conservatory of Performing Arts, Dr. Brad Mahon have put together “From the Americas to Spain,” an intimate presentation of instrumental, acoustic guitar music.

This concert features music from South, Central, and North America, as well as music from Spain by composers from as early as the 19th century through to the present including: Francisco Tárrega, Federico Moreno Torroba, Heitor Villa-Lobos, Agustin Barrios, Jorge Cardoso, Ramses Calderon and contemporary Canadian composers: William Beauvais, Bob Evans, and Rik Emmett.

Please join us for this special event; tickets are $15 in advance, available in-person at Mysteria Gallery (mysteria.ca), or $20 at the door.
