The New West Concert Series presents Kalle Mattson. The solo artist –– originally from Sault Ste. Marie, ON but now based out of Ottawa, ON –– works comfortably in the space between folk and rock, finding a unique voice similar to the mellower moments of Attack in Black and its offshoots. His latest album, Someday, the Moon Will Be Gold, was long listed for the Polaris Prize and is being rereleased this fall with additional tracks.
