Brian Sklar and The Tex Pistols – Canada's original rhinestone cowboy band, Brian Sklar and the Tex Pistols, have performed all across North America and throughout continental Europe. The group has toured Europe 43 times, has recorded a total of 32 albums and has a room full of awards from country music associations in Canada, the US and Switzerland. The Tex Pistols were part of the first ever Brighter Futures for Children performance and are delighted to be asked to return for the tenth anniversary show.

Jack Semple – Growing up on a farm north of Regina, Semple started his music career playing with various Regina-based bands, and later relocated to Toronto in the 1980s to become the lead guitarist of The Lincolns. He left the band after two years and returned to Regina to pursue a solo career and to spend more time with his family. Semple has been twice nominated, in 1999 and 2000, for a Gemini award and won a Juno award in 1991 for Best Roots Recording. Semple continues to perform as a solo artist and with The Jack Semple Band across Canada.

Frogs Back – Many decades ago a few university buddies formed a rock band for something to do over the summer. Frogsback, re-formed 25 years later, entertains with a sound influenced by classic rock and blues. Their repertoire of classic rock, contemporary rock and blues is always a crowd pleaser. Frogsback has a large local following and is well known for utilizing their talents to raise money for a number of local charities. With a new CD coming soon, you don’t want to miss a rare opportunity to see them perform live.
