An Evening With Séan McCann
November 20, 8:00 PM, Saskatchewan Cultural Exchange
The Cultural Exchange presents Séan McCann. He’s a lot of things, husband, father, and true through-and-through Newfoundlander among them. He’s also a dyed-in-the-wool folk music, searching for truth and sincerity in all things. After leaving Great Big Sea, a legitimate phenomenon in the world of Canadian folk music, McCann needed to continue to define himself. He did just that with his first post-GBS solo album, Help Your Self, released in 2014 and produced by Joel Plaskett, and all the subsequent singles he’s been releasing online since. Join McCann for an evening of music in the Exchange.
Doors at 8 p.m. Advance tickets are $25 plus service charges, will be available at Vintage Vinyl and Madame Yes, and are currently available online at TicketEdge. Tickets available at the door barring a sell-out. All ages and licensed.
