My Own Story: Spoken Word Artistry - Glen Elm Branch

March 30, 1:30 PM, Regina Public Library

For ages 15 & over. Learn to trust your writer's voice as you explore the basic components of spoken word stories: writing – discovering the stories that want to be told; editing,– finding the piece within our piece, and performing,– giving the performance our stories deserve. You'll be mentored through each phase and will have a completed spoken word poem by the end of the three sessions. The workshop will close with a performance on the Creative City Centre stage at 7:00 pm on April 1. Adults welcome. Registration required.
