Freedom to Read Week: Banned Books Cafe 3 - Central Branch

In honour of Freedom to Read Week (February 21-27), M.C. Gail Bowen presents a series of readings from books that have been challenged in Canada. Readers include RPL Writer in Residence Nilofar Shidmehr (reading Women without Men); Ashley Martin, Leader-Post (Such is my Beloved); Merelda Fiddler, CBC (Dance Me Outside) and Randy Lundy, Campion College (New American and Canadian Poetry). Refreshments will be served; everyone welcome. This program takes place in the RPL Film Theatre. Registration required.
