The Prairie Diner Season 3 - Tangerine: The Food Bar, Pink Cadillacs, Riverlot Orchard

(February 10, 2016) Jackalope Media Inc. and Zoot Pictures Inc. are pleased to announce that City in Saskatchewan’s highest rated original homegrown television series, The Prairie Diner, returns for a third season with Saskatchewan comedian Jody Peters back in the saddle as host.
Season Three of this City Saskatchewan exclusive original production kicks off on Tuesday, February 23rd, 2016 at 10:30pm CST, and then continues with new episodes every Tuesday evening at 10:30pm until March 29th. The series showcases Peters as The Prairie Diner criss-crossing Saskatchewan in search of his next taste adventure.
The Prairie Diner is a different kind of food show. In addition to exploring the secret behind some of the tastiest dishes on the prairies this series is about the whole experience. Whether jumping the border or learning to do the doo-wop, Jody Peters takes the audience into the heart of each kitchen he visits and beyond.
“We’re excited to be bringing a third season of the program to Canadian viewers featuring host Jody Peters and some of the best culinary cuisine in the province,” said Will Dixon, Production Executive for City Saskatchewan.
The Prairie Diner is directed by Leif Kaldor, produced and written by Leslea Mair, Leif Kaldor and Chris Cunningham. The series features Original Music by Jack Semple, with Lead Cinematographer Ian Rogers and Location Sound by Tim Bender, edited by David McGunigal, Joni Church and Calvin Henron.
The Prairie Diner is produced by Zoot Pictures Inc. and Jackalope Media Inc. in association with City Saskatchewan and Rogers Media Inc. With the financial assistance of the Canadian Film or Video Production Tax Credit and the participation the Manitoba Film and Video Production Tax Credit. Produced with the financial participation of the Creative Saskatchewan SaskTel Equity Investment Fund. Production made possible through the Screen-Based Media Production Grant Program.
