Artesian Presents is thrilled to have Danny Olliver playing at the Artesian on Friday, March 3rd 2017. Fresh off a stellar performance at this year's Winterruption Festival, Danny Olliver retakes our stage with Edmonton-based Post Script and Saskatchewan's own Megan Nash as guests.

Doors will open at 7:30PM, and the Concert gets underway at 8PM. Tickets for this great night of music are just $20, and are available for sale now. This is an all-ages concert.

DANNY OLLIVER learned guitar on an abandoned three string Yamaha he saved from being trashed. A quick study, he added three more strings and began writing his own material. Taking inspiration from guitarists like Don Ross and Antoine Dufour, Danny focused on fingerstyle pieces. His beginnings as a fingerstyle guitarist gave him a unique edge as he transitioned into the folk pop scene in 2008.

Hot off the Prairie Gentleman Tour, Olliver was asked to play several high profile festivals, including the Regina Folk Festival and the Reeperbahn Festival in Hamburg, Germany.

POST SCRIPT are a group of young, charming musicians, writing and performing songs like old souls for modern times. Considered “one of Edmonton’s hidden gem bands” (CBC.ca), the distinct flavour of Post Script is coming out of hiding and finding an audience, which the group aims to grow significantly while supporting the release of If Not For You. Significant performance invitations in just the past year have included numerous opening slots for touring acts, and appearances at Canmore Folk Music Festival and their hometown Edmonton Folk Music Festival, highlighted with a “tweener” spot on the mainstage.

MEGAN NASH is based in rural Saskatchewan, where she recorded her most recent album “Song Harvest: Volume One” in a 100 year old church. A testament to new love and the Palmer Church, the songs on Song Harvest are "...raw, and so much more real. It’s easy to imagine sitting in the room as Megan sings and plays for these recordings. You feel connected, it’s as though you are living the stories in the music along with her." - Music Regina Live.

Artesian Presents is a new non-profit organization offering facility, production, and marketing support to the performing arts community in Regina.
