The Saskatchewan Master Naturalist Program is designed to engage people in citizen science through education and involvement in conservation projects.  Chet Neufeld, Executive Director of the Native Plant Society of Saskatchewan, will give a program overview.  He will talk about the need for such a program and the steps leading up to its creation, the vision, mission and objectives of the program, the curriculum format and the requirements to become certified as a Master Naturalist.  He will also outline the current learning opportunities for 2017 as well as the future direction of the program.
