Post Script, Etienne Fletcher and Bears in Hazenmore

October 13, 8:00 PM, Artesian on 13th

Regina, SK – The Artesian has put together a fantastic night of music on Friday, October 13th featuring the Edmonton folk-duo Post Script, Regina's own Etienne Fletcher and Bears in Hazenmore (as a Duo).

We'll Open the Doors at 7PM and the Concert will get underway at 8PM. Tickets are just $20.

POST SCRIPT is considered “one of Edmonton’s hidden gem bands” (CBC.ca). The distinct flavour of Post Script is coming out of hiding and finding an audience, which the group aims to grow significantly while supporting the release of “If Not For You”. Significant performance invitations in just the past year have included numerous opening slots for touring acts, and appearances at Canmore Folk Music Festival and their hometown Edmonton Folk Music Festival, highlighted with a “tweener” spot on the mainstage. Post Script are young, charming musicians, writing and performing songs like old souls for modern times.

ETIENNE FLETCHER, former member of the band Indigo Joseph, is recognized for receiving the PEOPLE’S CHOICE AWARD and SONGWRITER’S AWARD at NOUVELLE SCENE and CHANT’OUEST in 2015. In his new self-titled project he brings together his French and English roots. Accompanied by his guitarist Sean McCannell and drummer Gaelan Malloy, he creates a high energy show with genres ranging from rock, blues, folk, pop and dance music. The project strives for each show to bring variety, connection and memorable experiences.

BEARS IN HAZENMORE are an ambient alternative rock group based out of Regina, Saskatchewan, Treaty 4. Since their formation in 2014, the band has become known for creating atmospheric soundscapes and their ability to draw audiences in with intimate lyrics and enticing builds. They draw strong influences from and comparisons to groups such as City and Colour, Aidan Knight, and Bon Iver. The five members—Brady Frank (lead vocals/guitar/keys), Dana Rempel (bass/sax), Darnell Stewart (guitar), Tanner Wilhelm Hale (drums/vocals), and Dalton Lam (trumpet)—all have their roots in Swift Current, Saskatchewan, where they met through different musical endeavours.

Artesian Presents is a non-profit organization that supports the performing arts community in Regina. The beautiful Artesian on 13th Avenue is our home, and we help foster collaboration and resource sharing between the artists, arts organizations, and community groups that use this space.
