Ionic Bonding: Magnetism

February 14, 7:00 PM, Saskatchewan Science Centre

Our most excellent Valentine's Day edition of Adult Science Night is back for another year!

Love is in the air - or is it just physics? This year's Ionic Bonding is all about that strange force that is magnetic attraction. Let your heart become your compass to guide you around the Science Centre. See sparks fly and learn about geomagnetic storms with our special guest, storm chaser Notanee Bourassa Make a motor that will make a heart spin (literally), and try your hand at magnetic archery with Cupid's Bow!

Make your evening complete by pre-ordering a delicious boxed meal made by Skye Cafe & Bistro. Take your pick between Beef Wellington, or Vegetarian Samosas, both served with homemade chips and meringues for dessert. Both meal options are $15 each and will only be available for pre-order up to 4pm on February 12th. Whether you buy your tickets online or over the phone at 306-791-7914, you'll be able to select a meal option.

Adult Science Nights are the Saskatchewan Science Centre – only for those 19+! Enjoy more advanced programming, new themes every month, a licensed bar and snacks, and all the science fun you can handle.
