Regina, SK – The Globe Theatre School and Artesian Presents are proud to present their 2nd Annual LAUNCH Youth Performance Festival over March 15-25 at the Artesian on 13th Avenue. This year’s Festival features 13 New Works of theatre, dance, music, film and media all created and performed by some of Regina’s brightest young artists.

Performances run nightly from March 15-18 and March 22-24, with Doors Opening at 7:00PM and Shows starting at 7:30PM. Matinee Performances on March 17, 18, and 25 all start at 2:00PM. Tickets are $20 for Adults or $10 for Youth, and are available through the Globe Theatre’s Box Office (and at the Door).

LAUNCH is an opportunity for Saskatchewan arts organizations working with youth to come together in the spirit of collaboration, education, and exposure. The Globe Theatre School, the FadaDance Troupe, the Conservatory of Performing Arts, the Saskatchewan Filmpool Cooperative, and the Deaf Crows Collective are bringing a total of 13 New Works to this year’s Festival; works that have been created by and feature over 130 young artists (ages 15-21) and artist educators from our local arts community.

LAUNCH performances run in repertory, so you’ll see different groups performing each night. You’ll see creation-based theatre pieces, a selection of short films, hear from a youth choir and string orchestra, see a multitude of modern dance, and a preview of the new play being developed by the Deaf Crows.
