Apr. 14: Annual Bushwakker Brewer’s Dinner. Our signature brewing and culinary event returns! Enjoy a fabulous multi-course meal in which each course is prepared with a unique beer style and paired with a different beer to enhance the flavours of each dish. This year’s menu will serve as a tribute to the late Bushwakker co-founder and president, Bev Robertson, and will feature some of his favourite dishes.

 

COURSE ONE: New Brunswick Vienna Bouillabaisse
What a start! PEI mussels, lobster tail, tiger shrimp and fresh clams in a rich tomato saffron broth.
Prepared with: Last Mountain Vienna Lager
Served with: Dungarvon Irish Red Ale

COURSE TWO: Smoked Trout Trappist Salad
Fresh Lake Diefenbaker steelhead trout fillet is smoked and served on a bed of artisanal greens in a Trappist Ale vinaigrette.
Prepared with: Rochefort Trappistes 8
Served with: Brew & Gold Dortmunder

COURSE THREE: Gold Medal Portered Beef Short Ribs
Canadian beef short ribs braised in our national award-winning Palliser Porter and spices with chanterelle mushroom sauce and caramelized shallots. Served with aged cheddar horseradish mashed potatoes and green asparagus.

Served with: Chinook Extra Special Bitter

COURSE FOUR: Chocolate Milk Stout Lava Cake
Luscious and rich chocolate milk stout cake with an ooey-gooey center, heated and served with a milk stout wort reduction ripple vanilla ice cream.
Prepared with: Two Sons Milk Stout
Served with: Pickard's Oatmeal Cream Stout
