Winterruption: Hawksley Workman and More

Winterruption is back for 2019! This evening is part of the festivities, featuring Hawksley WorkmanKobo Town, and Suncliffs.

Workman is a two-time JUNO Award-winning singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. A staple of the Canadian music and arts scene for over 20 years, he boasts a catalogue of 16 releases, showcasing his signature blend of anthemic folk and show-stopping vocals. His latest album, Old Cheetah, came out in 2015. Founded and fronted by Trinidadian émigré and songwriter Drew Gonsalves, Kobo Town’s music joyous, poetic, and highly danceable. Their latest album, Where the Galleon Sank, came out in 2017. Suncliffs is a four-piece indie-folk collaboration built around the songwriting of Lexi Buzash.

Doors at 7:30 p.m. Show at 8 p.m. Advance tickets are $35 and are available online at Eventbrite. $45 at the door. All ages and licensed. Those 12 and under are free.
