Lieutenant Governor's Canada Day Celebration at Government House

July 1, 1:00 PM, Government House

Join us at the Lieutenant Governor’s Canada Day Celebration on July 1st at Government House.  This year we’ll mark the 175th Anniversary of the birth of Louis Riel with a celebration of Métis Culture.  The talented Donny Parenteau and his band will perform, as well as the award-winning Creeland Dancers, and the square-dancers from Pelican Narrows school.  George Fayant will have his beautiful handmade Red River Carts and antique tools on display.  Kaos Dog Sports will be back, we’ll have a visit from the Storybook Princesses and Superheroes, and the Saskatchewan Science Centre will present their popular stage shows.  Our Bouncy Castle, face-painting, and kids’ Cricket pitch will create a fun afternoon for all!  This free family event will run from 1 to 4 pm and everyone is welcome.
