Saskatchewan Science Centre

The mission of the Saskatchewan Science Centre is to ignite scientific curiosity and innovation in Saskatchewan communities through interactive, dynamic and engaging opportunities. And it’s fun!

The Saskatchewan Science Centre presents an experience delivered in a variety of ways:

Our exhibit floor features more than 150 permanent interactive displays which let children of all ages (even adults!) explore and learn about the world around them through a uniquely Saskatchewan perspective. Stay for one or more of the stage shows and enjoy as a Science Explorer guides you in the discovery of fire, cryogenics, electricity and much, much more! Watch the show or raise your hands and get involved! Every show needs help from the audience!

The Saskatchewan Science Centre regularly features travelling exhibitions from all over the globe such as Imaginate, Titanic, DaVinci, and How to Make a Monster. The Saskatchewan Science Centre features two or three of these travelling exhibitions throughout the year. You’ll want to come back again and again!

The Science Centre is also home to the Kramer IMAX Theatre – the only one of its kind in Saskatchewan! The Kramer IMAX theatre features a screen that is 53’ tall and 72’ wide and delivers more than 10,000watts of audio power! Featuring the best IMAX documentary movies and some of Hollywood’s newest hits, the Kramer IMAX Theatre has something for everyone!

The Saskatchewan Science Centre is also proud to offer the Atom + Geek Gift Shop featuring a variety of education and science-related gift items, toys, and products not available anywhere else in the city.

Read what some of our visitors have to say on TripAdvisor:

“One of the most interesting places to go in Regina. They always have new displays and some of the coolest exhibits.”

“This place sure gets one involved, and gets children playing and learning about how things work. The displays are always changing to keep things interesting for those who like to visit often.”

“I had fun considering I'm 37 years old and didn't go to the centre with children. Just wanted to do something a little different than go see a movie. I had many trips to similar when I was a child and had fun. Worth the trip.”

“My three year old had a blast, as did my inner child!”

See you soon!
